Scholarships
For Greek students
Students registered at certain Franco-Hellenic masters can benefit from scholarships via Erasmus programs. These scholarships cover part of their travel expenses, accommodation and restoration costs in Greece and France. Similarly, students who wish to apply for an internship in an institution based in a member country of the EU-27, may receive an ERASMUS grant / internship, covering their living expenses in the country selected (for more information contact the secretariat of each Master Franco- Hellenic).
For foreign students
Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, the State Scholarships Foundation (ΙΚΥ) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offer a limited number of scholarships to students from third countries aiming to help them pursue their studies in Greece (for more information, contact the embassies and consulates of Greece abroad). Similarly, the Embassies of France abroad offer a number of scholarships for those who wish to pursue their studies in France (for that purpose, students need to enroll firstly in a French University). Finally, several international organizations and institutions (such as AUF and national foundations in each country offer scholarships to those wishing to pursue studies at Masters level 2 in a country other than their own (for foreign students wishing to pursue studies in Greece see the foundations’ sites to menu 'Links'). Students who are accepted in Franco-Hellenic Masters are eligible for all scholarships offered by the aforementioned institutions.
The deposition of scholarships applications offered by the majority of these institutions (except ERASMUS) must take place during the second quarter of each year. Thus, students wishing to apply for scholarships must deposit their complete file at least six months before the start of classes. For this purpose, they need to send their files to the responsible secretariats of the common Master chosen and in case of being eligible, to ask for a pre-registration certificate.
